Glyphs - hide them, share them, what do they mean?

A lot of talk on the g+ and other sources regarding these mysterious glyphs, shaper symbols or whatever they may mean.  Who will control them? What power do they hold?

I am working on trying to collect symbol and glyph mentions in the Niantic universe - will add updates as soon as I can.  But here are a few:

Working on a timeline of glyph mentions in the Niantic world - so far this is how I general see it, working to get actual citations - please let me know how to better refine this and correct it.

1. Misty gives something to Klue at the Magic Castle event - maybe be the symbols/glyphs
2. Klue is contacting Carrie about what Misty gave her
3. Klue mentions them to Sus.hanna Moyer
4. Glyphs found on ground during REH Days Cross Plains, TX event
5. Hank continues to search for them, finds letters from HPL with symbols
6. TimeZero event, glyphs passed to enlightenment

( from the investigation June 16 - This previously undiscovered letter is believed to have been Jim Bowie's guide in his hunt for the San Saba mines.) - as a followup - check this post and the comments, especially those by Dr. Wright
