Hostile Takeover - other XM study labs beware

So, trying to break down the events of today piece what is going on. This is what I have so far, but it is spotty and I am sure there is much missing, will update as corrections are made, please help out with additions and corrections as needed. This is more just getting the events in order, as to what they mean, there is much discussion to be had and truth to be found. Also, this should serve as a warning... or at least something to watch/consider as if this happened to Niantic, until more is known, it could happen to any lab. 

At the time of this blog entry (about 10:30pm) – there has been no communication about this on Edgar Allen Wright, Hubert Farlowe, Joe Philley (other than resharing Niantic posts), Brandon Badger (other than resharing Niantic posts) or any affiliated Niantic persons….

Niantic g+ posts a message - https://plus.google.com/u/0/105211554081025512763/posts/VfGobBNpcY2 that an organization called HAZDATA is attempting a take over of the CERN Niantic Lab. 

The post links to this report - http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/pac/IB/05/item/hostile06.html (which had an initial copyright date of 2012 but that was corrected and now has all updated articles, initially through the day the individual press releases were added).

It was noted by a reply on the thread that the article is by the same wire service as the Zurich shooting posts (http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/pac/IB/01/item/01-2bodies.html - thanks g+ Anton Sweeny

Niantic also replies at 11:11AM that there is no direct source of information from Niantic Facility as PAC’s main contact there is location unknown

GENEVA, Switzerland (TPI) – An estimated dozen Niantic Security officials have been ‘taken into custody’ by HAZDATA Operatives. After a brief standoff lasting about 30 minutes Niantic Project Security Officials relinquished their weapons and surrendered to HAZDATA control forces.

There was no apparent involvement of Swiss police or military forces. There are no reports of shots being fired or admissions to local medical facilities. A man wearing a Hazdata uniform claimed that this was a ‘training exercise.’ An observer on the scene said that it was ‘very well acted if it was a training scene.’

As of this reporting, HAZDATA Officials appear to be entering the facility. “It is hard to read what is going on’ the observer said. “There are no weapons drawn, but the atmosphere is ‘intense’, ‘professional’.

Following initial reports, a HAZDATA official has confirmed a corpse discovered at the Niantic Facility may be that of theoretical physicist Dr. Victor Kureze.

Cause of death has not yet been released. 'Let’s not get ahead of ourselves’ says spokesman. 'We will wait for a thorough investigation.'

Victor Kureze was the scientist most credited with discovering Exotic Matter (XM), and was one of the first scientific researchers to join the Niantic Project, according to leaked intelligence reports.

GENEVA, Switzerland (TPI) – The remaining Niantic Scientists who were escorted out of the facility earlier today are currently believed to be under interrogation by HAZDATA staff. Geneva police first confirmed, then denied that a death had occurred.

An undisclosed source told this reporter that Kureze had been murdered. ‘Found in lab, very suspicious circumstances.’

Analysts are currently questioning whether the death of Victor Kureze is tied to an Ingress ‘Player’ event in which data packages were released from the facility and ‘harvested’ by operatives across Europe.

The true relationship between the Niantic Project and the 'Ingress Game' has been the subject of rumors and speculation previously. Thus far, little attention has been paid by the mass media.

A murder in Geneva may change all of that.
